This policy covers how Mothership Transport Corporation (“MTC”) treats personal information that it collects and receives on and through (the “Site”), Mothership Retail Stores and Partners and any and all applications related to MTC. This notice tells you what information we collect, steps we take to protect and secure it, how we use and share information, and finally, how you can contact us with questions or concerns.

  • Certain personal information will be requested of callers to confirm their identity and authority to obtain information about or make changes an account. You expressly grant MTC the authority and waive any claims against MTC for providing account information and making requested changes at the request of any person who provides correctly the identity-validating information requested.


For purposes of this privacy policy:

A “Provider” is a person or party that renders services to another person or party - the “Client”- through the Site.

The term “use of the Site” includes but is not limited to being introduced to a Provider or Client, a Provider rendering services to a Client and/or a Client obtaining services from a Provider, utilizing the features of the Site to make or receive payments, exchanging communications and materials between Providers and Clients and MTC, availing oneself of other services the Site and MTC may offer, and purchasing or selling other products or services MTC deems appropriate to be offered on or through the Site.

A “User” is any person accessing or using the Site.

A “Transaction” is the purchase by a User of one or more Blocks (defined in the Provider Agreement and Client Agreement as one (1) hour), or any other goods or services offered by or through the Site.


3.1 Data you provide to us

MTC collects personal information you give us when you apply or register with us, such as name, address and email, as well as other information we may request – some of which is required and some of which is discretionary on your part.


MTC may also collect information about your payment transactions with us and with some of our business partners. This information might include necessary information to process your due payments to us, such as your credit card number.

3.2 Logs

MTC gathers certain information automatically and stores it in log files. This information includes internet protocol addresses as well as browser, internet service provider, operating system, date/time stamp, and click stream data. From time to time, MTC may connect personal data to information gathered in MTC’s log files as may be necessary to improve the Service to individual Users. Otherwise, MTC mostly uses this information with no connection to individual Users, to analyze trends, administer the Site, or track usage of various features within the Site.


A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier that is sent to your browser from a website's computers and stored on your computer's hard drive. You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies or notify you when a cookie is set.

However, if you reject all cookies, you may not be able to use part or all of the Site.

MTC uses its own cookies for a number of purposes, including to:

  • Require you to re-enter your password after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally accessing your account contents.
  • Keep track of preferences you specify while you are using the Site.
  • Estimate and report our total audience size and traffic.
  • Conduct research to improve the content and services provided on the Site.

MTC may allow other entities that show advertisements or provide goods/services on some of our web pages set and access their cookies on your computer. Other entities' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, and not this policy. Advertisers or other entities do not have access to MTC cookies.


The Site is hosted in the U.S. and is intended for and directed to Users around the world. We may transfer your personal data to countries other than the one in which you live. Our database server providers comply with the E.U.-U.S. Privacy Shield to enable the safe transfer of data according to the European Union data protection laws. If you are accessing the Site from other regions with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use and disclosure, please be advised that through your continued use of the Site, which is governed by this privacy policy, and our Provider Agreements and Client Agreements, you are transferring your personal information to the U.S. and you consent to that transfer.


MTC uses information for the following general purposes: products and services provision, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, research, and anonymous reporting.

6.1 Transactions

MTC may use your personal information where it is necessary to complete a Transaction, to operate or improve the MTC services or to do something that you have asked us to do.

6.2 Communications

We may send you emails, messages and other types of communications in connection with updates, invitations, offers and information about the Site and our products and services. These communications are considered part of the MTC account and you may not opt out of them.

6.3 Security

We may use your data (including your communications) if we think it’s necessary for security purposes or to monitor and prevent possible fraud or other violations of our Provider Agreement, Client Agreement, this Privacy Policy and/or other agreements between us.

6.4 Advertising

We may include advertisements on the Site, which may also be sent to you by MTC or one of our advertising partners using the following data:

  • Information from cookies, pixels or ad tags (such as browser type and IP address)
  • Information from your use of the Site, such as what type of services you were interested in (but never from any exchanges between Providers and Clients)

MTC may share general demographic information (such as aggregated statistics about members' interests and occupations) and non-personally identifiable information (such as browser type and IP addresses) with advertisers and partners.

MTC does not share any personally identifiable information with advertisers. However, by selecting, interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad, and such advertiser may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. In this way, ad servers may compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, saw their advertisements and determine which ads are clicked on. This information allows an ad network to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This privacy policy covers the use of cookies by MTC and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.


MTC does not share personal information except as described in this policy.

When you provide personal information through using MTC you are however sharing your personal information with MTC and its affiliated entities. The use of your personal information by these organizations is subject to this policy.

7.1 Sharing Client Information to Providers

In the normal operation of the Site, MTC will share your chosen screen name (if different than your real name) with Providers. MTC will not share any other of your personal (non-MTC) contact information such as address, email or telephone. Provider’s that ask for or use personal and direct client contact information, will be subject to termination of Mothership provider rights and access. Clients that request personal and direct contact information from providers’ will be subject to termination of Mothership client rights and access.

7.2 Sharing Provider Information to Clients

In the normal operation of the Site, MTC will share your screen name and first name and last initial, if available, as well as information you provide regarding qualifications and experience to Clients. MTC will not share any other of your personal (non-MTC) contact information such as address, email or telephone. Provider’s that share their personal and direct contact information with clients, will be subject to termination of Mothership provider rights and access.

We may share your personal information to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, to establish or exercise our legal rights or, defend against legal claims and if in our judgment in such circumstances disclosure is required or appropriate.

We may share your personal information if we believe it is necessary in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our various terms of use, or as otherwise required by law, or to address and/or resolve disputes as provided in the Provider Agreements and Client Agreements.

7.3 Affiliates and Evolution of MTC

As we continue to develop our business, we may have other entities which we control, are controlled by us or are under the same control as MTC. Personally identifiable information you have shared with us will be available to our affiliates but will always be subject to the terms of this privacy policy or subsequent policies to which you have consented.

Additionally, MTC may buy or sell all or part of our business. Personally identifiable information you have shared with us is generally one of the business assets that will be transferred. The transferred personally identifiable information will remain subject to the terms of this privacy policy or subsequent policies to which you have consented.

7.4 With Consent

MTC may share information with third parties when we have your explicit consent to do so.


You can edit your own account information at MTC. You can also ask our customer service to change, update or fix data. Most personal information you may provide is entirely optional.

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data collected by MTC.

You can delete your applicable account by visiting the applicable account deletion page.

MTC may revise, modify or update this policy. We may notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your particular MTC account or by placing a prominent notice on the Site. You are encouraged to check this policy frequently for any changes as your continued use of the MTC service indicates your consent to such changes.


No data transmissions over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Consequently, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we take reasonable measures to secure it on our systems.

If MTC learns of a security breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. By using MTC or providing personal information to us, you agree that we can communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy and administrative issues relating to your use of the Site. We may post a notice on the Site if a security breach occurs. We may also send an email to you at the email address you have provided to us in these circumstances.


MTC does not have any specific policies regarding children because Providers are approved by MTC and Clients must have credit cards to purchase services on the Site.

Having said that, one of MTC’s general policies is that each Provider and Client is solely responsible for the security of its username and password, and MTC is not responsible or liable in the event anyone, including a child, obtains your username and password and uses it for any purpose on the Site, including but not limited to accessing your account, incurring charges or accessing monies to be paid.


The Site contains links to other sites. MTC is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. MTC encourages Users to be aware when leaving the Site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies only to information collected by the Site.


MTC will send to Users strictly service-related announcements when it is necessary to do so, including but not limited to maintenance announcements, which Users may generally not opt-out of while his/her account is active.

Users may at any time unsubscribe from any promotional email sent from the Site by clicking on the unsubscribe link included at the bottom of each such MTC email.


This Privacy Policy shall be governed by, construed in accordance with and disputes resolved pursuant to the terms of the Provider Agreements and Client Agreements.
